I had the same thing happen to me on my 4xe at Whole Foods and where I live. People aren't used to a Jeep that plugs in. I think these spaces are made for PHEV more so than EV since the range on our Jeep's aren't that great we need them around town.

Jeep really needs to do a better job of advertising the the 4xe as an EV.

By comparison, I’ve only seen a handful of so Broncos in town, but annoyingly - as the one “off roader car guy” in my friends group - I’m constantly badgered with questions about it. Only a few of them even realize I drive an EV now.

To the average person, the 4xe just looks like another random trim level, like islander, arctic, or COD.

Which leads to problems like this.
