Did 1200 mile road trip with only a charge at the very beginning of the trip. Basically all highway averaged 15.8 at 75-80 mph. This is 3 inch lift, 37's, winch, heavy steel bumper, heavy steel rear bumper, fully packed back + 600 pounds of people. Just got back from a 2050 mile road trip in the gladiator and averaged 15.7 on 3 inch lift, same exact tires and rims (i swapped the 39 mt's out for the 37 AT's just for the smoother/quieter ride) and the gladiator regeared to 5.13's.

Not saying the 4xe is a highway champ, but sure seems to be pretty much the same as my gladiator on the highway once its mod'd up and doing 75-80. Makes sense since at constant speed weight has a pretty neglible effect and its all tires and air resistance that are setting the MPG's.

I run almost entirely in battery save mode. 5000+ miles and my current range upon fill up is exactly like yours. 21.5 avg. mpg with 326 mile range.

I’m assuming that’s reset after every fill up? Have you done the math to see what the true fuel mileage is or just going off the guessometer? What mods if any?

No mods. Stock '24 Willy's. Almost all highway miles. Real life numbers. 100% gas.
Perfect. This is good reference data even for 4xe Rubicons since you’re essentially running around in the same machine minus the front locker and some other minor differences that wouldn’t play into this.

What speed? ā€˜22 Rubi 4xe….once the battery is down to <1% my average at highway speeds (75-80mph) is around 18mpg. How fast were you going to get 21.5mpg?

You'd be surprised at how much better your avg. mpg would be if you lowered your speed. It's not easy 'cause you feel like you're standing still but I try to stay at 65 mph during my 40 mile commute. Rarely, if ever, exceeding 70 mph. Again, not easy to do since I averaged 80-85 mph with my previous vehicle.

Mine is a 21 Rubicon 4xe, essentially stock, no lift, on 33 KO2s. Going slow is a big problem for me on the highway, hence the avg 17.7MPGf, similar toAv8ForFun’s 18.

Best I have seen in a fillup is MPGf = 21.3, worst is 14.6.

While it’s fun to look at pure fuel mileage, you can’t ignore the benefits of the electric side. It makes the Jeep even faster and more fun. Also, and it’s all location dependent, but for me each electric mile is ~1/4 the cost of a fuel mile. If I had to buy gas for those electric miles, it would have been over $4k. Instead it cost $1k.

Details aside, I love this 4xe, and that’s all that really matters. ??

That makes more sense. Well, here the speed limit is 75mph. If you aren’t going closer to 80, you are a road hazard. I don’t know what it’ll do at 65. Haha.
