These were done with the battery at less than 1%. I was in 4WD high. I'm happy to report that 0-60 in 6 seconds is completely feasible even with the battery discharged. I was hitting eSave+charge between attempts just to put a touch in but I was at that less than 1% state on all runs.

Wow. I think I am convinced now. Thank you for posting this... first confirmation that I have seen that settles the performance question. Based on that performance I would say the tera flex Jeep was probably early prototype with down rev SW as someone suggested.

Well done. Perfect video there. Now I have to go watch it again on the big tv.

Thank you! What mode were you in? It looked like the engine was running before brake release. Unlike the head to head test that was posted that said the ICE turned on after 100’:like:

I was in hybrid mode on all of these. The battery was at the <1% point. I power braked all but the second run.

Great contrast to the Teraflex video. Could it be that the Rubicon that Teraflex used is that much slower than your Sahara, @Chris Hall ? I think Terflex ran their tests differently, without power breaking, but they also ran against some highly modified JL's which had far larger tires and probably lower gearing.

I can't find the teraflex video. Do you have a link?

At least to me, it is easy to see that he was slow off the line in the Teraflex video compared to at least 2 of the other jeeps. Off the line is pretty darn important in a drag race.

I wonder what mode he had it in?

I hate to sound critical of anyone but there's some bad information communicated in that video.
Yes, there was. I see a lot of misinformation and general ignorance about this platform. it's getting old.

Were you in 4WD auto or 4WD hi for your runs, and did you notice any wheel spin?
