I was thinking about ordering my package on 4wheelparts to take advantage of a promotion but the duratrac 35s I want is listed as 35X70R17LT not 35X12.5R17LT. Can someone tell me the difference? Thanks

Not a dimes worth of a difference between the two. A 315/70/17 is basically a 35/12.50/17. Its just the metric version.

315 is a load D tire and about 0.5” smaller in OD - 35 is a load E tire. Probably some weight differences as well not much.

315/70/R17 and 35/12.5/17 are close in size but not the same. The 35s are have more sidewall, slightly wider, and over half an inch greater diameter. It makes some difference depending on what you’re trying to achieve.

They aren’t enough of a difference to worry about except if you want a D or E.
