Anyone in Colorado want to get rid of their red dash for my gray dash?

I might paint mine Punk'n but I'm still inclined to use the red from the factory if you want the gray.

Hi there - I'm looking at buying a new Rubicon and don't want the red dash. Are you still looking? How hard are they to swap out?

I would consider doing this as well. The challenge is the distance, by chance do you have any reason to come to Northern California?

Do you have any idea how hard they are to remove?

Seems easy enough from a quick look. Northern California would be awesome to visit again, but not likely to drive there. :o

I think spraying mine to match my Punk'n exterior will be the better bet.

Thank you all.

Not an easy process. The passenger side panel is attached to the airbag. Here is a step by step.
***********SAFETY NOTE************** DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND LET SIT FOR 30 MINS BEFORE YOU PULL THE AIRBAG*******
You need to pop off (has clips only) the AC controls bezel. Unplug the AC controls and starter button. The remove the radio bezel (Again clips only). Next remove the top dash pad. This has several clips and one screw that is hidden under the radio bezel. Now the fun part. Remove all the top screws on the driver's side dash (Red piece). The pry off slowly (Clips on the bottom). The passenger side is harder. Remove the top screws. Under the bezel is the SRS Airbag trim piece. You will need to remove that (3 clips) and cut the zip tie. Now remove the two screws that are under that trim piece. Open and drop the glove box. Look up and you will find two bolts (see picture) Those are for the airbag. (the airbag will come out with the dash panel. (The red thing you want painted). Remove the two bolts. Once you remove the bolts, pull the airbag and dash bezel towards you. from under the dash, you will now see a yellow plug. Unplug that plug and you are done!
