Hi everyone.
Its my first post here. Here is my situation, I was playing in the sand over here in Saudi desert And I got stuck so I engaged the 4low while filly stopped and gear on N. I tried to get off with no luck. I shifted to 4H again but still no luck. I shifted back to 4L the I put the gear on M1 drove a bit the shited to R accelerated a bit the all of the sudden a VERY LOUD BANG!!! and my jeep shifted from 4L to N and the gear is on R. I changed the gear to N tried to shift it back to 4L I got a warning message to check 4wd system.
So I tried to engage 4H and it works! So I had to be pulled by my friend and I got off the sand safely! Turn off the car and turn it back on engaged the 4L to test and it works!
Now what is that loud bang sound? Why it happened? And what do I have to check to make sure nothing has been damaged?
My jeep is 2019 JLUR with 35” tiers
And 2” mopar lift kit.
