As of last week, things I no longer think about.

Good luck though, I know in 5 years or so when factory support dries up someone will find an answer

Relocate why? Are you trying to tuck rocks between the frame, exhaust, and driveshaft and hope to not damage anything in the process? It costs you 0 useable ground clearance and if nothing else protects the drive shaft. As far as deleting, why? So you can buy an entire charging system as the belt start generator charges the 48v battery which then charges the 12V battery via a DC to DC inverter. You have no alternator and your entire etorque system is covered by an 8 year 80k mile warranty (or 100k in some states) as it is considered emissions equipment. Just run it and be happy?

If you build your Jeep beyond the bolt-on components it shouldn’t be too difficult to relocate the battery. Extend some cooling lines and electrical cables.
Easy-peasy for anybody cable of building an off-road rig.

How hard to reprogram the computer to not look for the 48v system?

Where would you relocate the big battery?

I bet someday it can be done, There are other cars with 48v systems.sobparts are out there.

Or just trade it in for a jeep with no 48v system.

It literally sits between the frame rails, what are you building further there? Relocating the fuel tank on the other side too? It's in the way of nothing and doesn't take up useable space. As someone who's wheeled every jeep they've owned for 30 years, what is it in the way of and why does it need gone?

Obviously, you’ve never been underneath a 2door wrangler with a 48 V battery. My driveshaft is literally 1 inch away from the battery and the gas tank at full flex. Coil overs and a stretch is in her future.
