I want to mount one on my hood and want a more “full” appearance across the entire vehicle. Better to get the 48 or 60 inch?

Something like this.

Never saw the use for hauling the weight around if you have a winch. I haven't carried one in 10 years of wheeling and not once I have ever missed it.

Since it sounds like you want it for looks, not purpose, just get a tape measure and decide for yourself which length you think would look better.

Judging by the 50" light bar on the hood of your example, I'd say he's got a 48"

Sorry, but it's a very INAPROPRIATE POSITION for the HiLift installation-especially on a NEW SOCIAL JEEP !

The chances of hood damage, during removal/reinstall is very high and the constant weather exposure of the HiLift is RUINOUS--

Notta good move-

Sorry

48 or 60?

If the jack gets ruined, I’ll buy a new one. If there’s damage to the hood, I’ll get if fixed.

Thank you.

Anyone know of any jack mounts for the JL hood that are available?

Please provide a link or answer instead of what you think I should do instead.

Thanks.

Have you picked up a Hi Lift jack? I’m not saying you can’t mount it on your hood without doing damage, but it’s no easy task. (Assuming you will actually use it)

Hauk off-road will be releasing theirs soon. Keep a eye on the website. They just added stuff today.

I had these Hi-lift rollbar mounts in the garage, they just needed to be drilled out just a bit and they fit. Got metric bolts and I'm good to go. Ordered a Hi-lift locking knob. I think the mounts are TM-700 but don't be mad if that's wrong. Super solid, no rattle.
