I averaged 20.5mpg on a 300 mile trip yesterday (stock tires), mostly cruising on the freeway at 70-80. Surprisingly better than my 3.6 on 35s ever did.

That's not bad really and beats the claimed 17mpg on the highway. This Jeep would be perfect to be if it had a larger fuel tank. Say like a 30 gallon or so. I'm going to wait till long range america makes an aux fuel tank and add one.It was in and out of 4 cylinder mode as I was driving on the highway.
That's awesome maybe it won't be as God awful on gas as I'm anticipating lolI averaged 20.5mpg on a 300 mile trip yesterday (stock tires), mostly cruising on the freeway at 70-80. Surprisingly better than my 3.6 on 35s ever did.
Keeping your foot out of it is going to be the determining factor lol. That's awesome maybe it won't be as God awful on gas as I'm anticipating lol
You’ll get 20+ mpg on the highway especially with that cylinder deactivation. It’s in traffic that everything dips. Would definitely love a bigger tank. That's not bad really and beats the claimed 17mpg on the highway. This Jeep would be perfect to be if it had a larger fuel tank. Say like a 30 gallon or so. If you get 20mpg on the highway why does jeep list it at 17?I would think they would definitely would be trying to spin the mpg as best they can. If it can achieve this number why not list it as say 15 city and 20 hw that sounds much better. You’ll get 20+ mpg on the highway especially with that cylinder deactivation. Who knows. I bet if you put the 392 on a dyno it also has 470RWHP. Underrating is the new black. If you get 20mpg on the highway why does jeep list it at 17?I would think they would definitely would be trying to spin the mpg as best they can. Oh now I wanna know how much wheel hp it's putting down. I guess with the awd it may read lower than the rwd woukd though. More drivetrain loss.Who knows. I bet if you put the 392 on a dyno it also has 470RWHP. Underrating is the new black.
Thats amazing. My R/T durango with the regular hemi is at best 21 on the highway with a very light footThis is where we ended when we pulled in the driveway. We hit heavy traffic at times as well so there was idle time in the overall trip as well.
The difference in range and mpgThis is where we ended when we pulled in the driveway. We hit heavy traffic at times as well so there was idle time in the overall trip as well.
Hey Mike, this is not in relation to MPG's, but where did you get the Carbon Fiber Gauge surrounds? The difference in range and mpg
