I just bought a 2024 Wrangler Willy’s and can’t figure out where to hook up anything directly controlled by the 4 aux buttons. Any suggestions?

Two options, one is by the battery under hood, the other is in the passenger footwell. Footwell also has IGN+ and B+ available. 1 and 2 are 40 amp relayed, 3 and 4 are 15 amp relayed.
IIRC they are taped up, look for a wire run that just ends.

I believe there pigtails both behind the glove box and in the engine bay near the battery. You should be able to find many youtube vids on how to hookup.

If you have the installed aux buttons from the factory there are leads on the passenger side up behind the glove box and some in the engine compartment down by the battery.
Pretty sure there is something in the manual if nit youtubs has plenty of vids.

One of the hot setups to use the Aux switches for are a winch.
Instead of having your winch powered hot all the time put a solenoid under the hood controlled by an aux switch and feed directly from the battery, this way you don't have to worry about a front end collision with a hot winch.
Plus if you get stuck in the mud you don't have to try to get under the vehicle to manually switch power on the winch. Easy and useful both!

I was also misled by the 2018 picture at the start of that thread. The image does clearly state 2018, but it'd be nice if the post were updated to mention the wiring color scheme has changed.Link above was wrong for my 2024 rubi.
