From my Priced Order Confirmation:

I (sorta) get why I'm charged $11 for 3.8 gallons of diesel, but am I supposed to bring a jerry can with me to take possession of my $10 worth of gasoline?

The dealer will fill your tank up when you go buy it. My guess is the 4 gallons is for test drives only.

It's to drive it to inspection/adjustment, out to the parking lot, to train, off train, onto truck, off truck, into prep, to diesel pump.

I think the OP is asking what a diesel buyer should do with this gift of gasoline with purchase. i.e. how should he transport the gasoline home with him?

Exactly correct. Except it’s not a gift. The charge is small, but it made me chuckle. Clearly they thought about it enough to create a new charge for diesel, but “forgot” to remove the gasoline charge. Not nefarious- just sloppy.
