4.56 regear done with 6 speed manual

Yes please let me know! Even my wife is complaining about the gearing. Good for me though that she’ll green light swapping it out, just need to make sure I buy the right gearing knowing I’m on 33’s now and plan on 35s
So far the gearing is perfect for me. Exactly 2500 Revs at 75 mph (I have a Tazer and separate GPS). My fuel mileage was about the same at 17.3 mpg from Annapolis to Philadelphia and back. I can still use sixth gear as low as 60 mph, and I can hold “above average” highway grade steep hills (Girard Point Bridge in Philadelphia) in 6th at 65 mph. For mountains I’m sure I’d have to downshift though.
I have 4:56 gears.

Planning on doing the same, 4.56's with 33s, probably get an ARB locker in the back at the same time, glad to hear people are liking this set up.

Resurrecting the thread. My wife has a 2019 JLU Sahara with manual trans. I just put some rubicon takeoff wheels/tires - 33s on it. Now it needs a regear and I was thinking to just go to 4.10s but this got me thinking about 4.56 gears.
She never plans to go to a 35" tire and will stick with 33s long term. She doesn't do any offroading.
So, if there is no plan for 35s, would you still go with 4.56? or would 4.10s work better?

Just wanted to update after having my new gears a while now. They're really great! Highly recommended for those who never see 6th!

as an aside, I recently added the idrive throttle controller which has been a great upgrade!!! No more lag and it’s so responsive now! Check it out!

You have 4.88s with 35s right? That should be sumilar to 4.56s with 33s, I think?

IF it was me I think the 4.56 would be the better choice, the 4.10s are okay but they are just okay.
The Rubicon should have come with 4.56 right from the start.
4.10s were okay for the most part when the jeep was completly stock, but it could have used a little more.

I had 4.56 gears and 33s for a year. It was a great setup. I now have 35s and wish I had 4.88s, so it would be like the 33s and 4.56s. I also have the 6 speed manual.

Regeared my manual sport to 4.10s for Moab. So much better on the highway and trails now. 80 mph @ 2500 rpm and no longer constantly downshifting on hills.

Only wish I had the rubi transfer case to crawl slower.

Have a 2019 sport 6 speed manual. Looking to regear as it sucks on 34’s (305/70/17). It goes off road but not too much. Main desire to regear is for on road use. 4.56 or 4.88? And what manufactures?? I’m new to this. Is my other half’s Jeep. I have a Toyota... so I’m new to Jeep’s

Im in the same boat, have a 2021 Willys Sport with 32" tires and the 6 speed manual trans. I don't like the fact that they basically gave us a useless gear and that the gears are so long.

Any regrets to going with the 4.56? Looks like by the gear calculator spreadsheet that if I had 4.56 with the same tires it would be like driving in 4th gear vs 6th gear with the 3.45 ratio. Ill put on some 33" when the stock ones wear out or if I can find a really good trade deal.
