392 with 35" Tires

Stock suspension. Stock Lift No Spacers
Northeast Daily Driver. Not planning offroading

Don't want to change diff ratio. -- Should I??

Go with
1) Nitto Trail Grapplers in 35x11.50 R17
2) BF Goodrich KO2s in 315/70/17 (C Rated) --Stock on Xtreme Recon??
3) Goodyear Wrangler Terrain MT
Any other ideas

I like the Nitto option on the stock wheel. It will likely retain more of the stock behaviors due to the 11.5 width. I ran km3 35x12.5 on method racing wheels on my stock 392. It was just fine once the pressure was lowered to about 33. For sale btw…

The 35s did slow it up a bit but it was expected. No regear needed. The 11.5 would likely mitigate most of that.

The KOs in 315 on the XR are great too. They’re better for daily duty than the KM3. Better in the wet for sure and a more comfy ride.

No need to regear with 35's. I'm running 315/70 Cooper STT Pro's and it's great.

I would only regear with 35's if I was going to be towing alot with it.

Get a Tazor to recalibrate tire size and you’ll never know 35’ tire change even occurred. Transmission shift points returned to normal from my experience and would never consider re gearing unless going to 37 possibly. Mine are 35x12.5x20 on 9’ wide Icon rebound wheels and no difference I can tell from stock set up.

#3 - After lots of research I'm sticking with the stock 33s for a while here. I think the 35 all look good but adding 10+ lbs per corner will affect the handling (which I really like the stock feel of the standard 392 setup). If you want a 35 that is close to the same weight look at the Goodyear Mts that come on the Bronco Sasquatch package. They are similar to KOs (C rated anyway) in feel and weigh about the same as the stock 33s on the 392.

Agree and Goodyear duratracks and Discount Tire exclusive ultra terrains are lighter than stock 33’. That’s what I ended up going with.

I was concerned about weight add also. The 35 x 11.5 c load toyo AT3s add ten pounds over the stock KO2s, but I dropped ten pounds on wheel weight, for net zero gain moving to 35s.

3.73 is kind of high for 35. It is considerably sluggish with 35 E rated ko2.
I know people will say the v8 got enough juice and 8 speed is able to cope with 35, and it's not a sports car bla bla Bla.

I ended up going with the BF Goodrich KO2s in 315/70/17 (C Rated) I don't think the weight difference (10lb per per corner) is a deal breaker. Lets face it It's a straight line monster and if the g forces don't scare you to death the higher Throttle exhaust note will make up for 2/10th seconds off the 0-60

I added the jeep tailgate reinforcement bracket and the 35" spare fits on the existing hardware with it barely resting on the bumper.

Inexpensive upgrade for more height and aggressive stance and I have the old 33's for my son's next tire change on his Sahara.

They are 61 lbs, exactly the same as the falken m/t that came off. first drive today with them on since I loaded up all 10 tires/rims in my truck for removal/mounting/balancing. only went 30 miles or so. Trying to tweak the psi, i am at 32. Really love the size. Seems perfect. Drives great.

Glad yours fit in the carrier, I got lucky also, fit just enough.

I’m running 32 psi on my 35x12.5x20. Tried higher but 32 seems right based on chalk test.
