For sure the shocks are cheaper as take offs. Bought some 392 Fox shocks (four) for $500. Now trying to find springs that match the extra inch of height these shocks need. But don’t want super stiff springs as I have a 2.0turbo.
The 3.6 XR is likely close in sprung weight to the 2.0.

Lol it does not. Literally every Jeep taken from that angle looks like that.

Looks great! Hope you enjoy it man.

Hahaha I love it man. Thanks for the support. You guys who have done it gave me the confidence to make it happen. It’s so fun to get in and out of, let alone how amazing it looks. I appreciate you!

Did you happen to take before and after measurements to see just how much height the springs gave you?

I didn’t. I even tried to remember but it’s so damn hot here in Florida, the only thing I remember is which way the ocean is.

I've been following along. But not everyone has the same weight of Jeep, got the same spring part numbers, etc. So I was wondering if there was a difference between one person and the next.

Yeah, I understand. The only of people doing this swap have either 3.6 or 2.0 which weights about the same. Only difference is if you have a front steel bumper and winch. If you don’t have that, you will gain about 2.75” in the front.
