So are these things different on a 392 vs non-392 rubi? Or for the diesel?

maybe the extra 1" is what let the jeep sit the same as a non diesel. I was expecting it to be an inch higher overall, but its not for sure. i am looking for my old sheet from my 2019 and my 2020 JLURs to compare. (even have numbers after Mopar lift)
I think that’s what it is, I’ve heard guys getting a little more lift on their sports/Sahara’s using diesel springs.

not that i know of.
If that’s true, then the 392 without the XR package would not fit larger tires any better than the standard Rubi without the XR package if one was interested in taking it off road. But, the OP’s gain in height due to the springs could be combined with bump stop extensions to have the ability to run bigger tires off road, assuming I’m tracking this correctly.

So the 392 springs would gain you about 1.75” in the front and 1.5” in the rear for a Diesel rubicon?

His was a gas, mine is a diesel. I would assume a diesel will be 1/2" lower or so due to added weight. it will be closer to the factory height of the 392 which is a little over 1" higher than a diesel.

I am picking up a takeoff set tomorrow, will update my results once done. (after it cools off a bit here in AZ)

The suspension works great. Drove over 150 miles with no problems on the road. Off-roading feel great. Full flex at bump stops no problem. Wanted to mention that the front overall lift gain was 2.75” however, it is really just 2” since I lost 3/4” with the bumper and winch.

next time you flex out the front like that grab a pic of the shock to see how much of the shaft is left exposed.

I picked up my Fox ATS today, waiting to hear back to go grab my 392 takeoff. until then living vicariously through you!

Looks nice! Since I prefer a true 2" lift, in the future, when prices go down, I will be on the lookout for either a set of these takeoff springs, or a set from the Rubicon XR.

Thanks. I guess with lifts and tire sizes there is no “true” anything. Lifts depend on your added weight to the vehicle and tires are not true 33”, 35” or 37”. My “35s” are just 34s.

Man that looks good! Not sure if i’m tripping but it still seems to have some rake?

I’m still debating 3667ad diesel front springs to even out after the winch, or the full set of diesel springs or a full set of 392 springs though.

It looks like it has a rake because of the way I took the photo but it doesn’t.

Did you happen to measure the socks? I have a chance to grab a set but I want to know if they might be too tall for the Rubicon springs.

I think I posted the measurements here in this thread. I can’t recall right now but they are longer than the stock ones.
