I wonder when they changed it? Mine was built the week of 11/15. It doesn’t feel horrible it just wonders pretty bad.
Good question man, I’m not sure. I know this may be stupid question but have to ask. Did you lower tire pressure from delivery? I would bet around 32 would feel better 👍🏻

At delivery 42psi I dropped it to 35/36psi it feels the same. I’ll go take it out some more.

Not sure will totally make it feel great but should help. If this is first SFA it does take a little getting use to. The extended LCAs will definitely help, and a cheap mod 👍🏻

I had a 20 gladiator (alu box), a 21 jl rubi (steel box) and a 21 392. The suspension and steering is superior in every way on the 392.
Before we ordered we took a used 20 JLUR for a ride. It had 0 wander, I’m willing to throw some parts at it to correct it. I’ll start with the mopar LCAs.

I picked up a set of the longer lower control arms from the mopar kit for cheap. 80$ delviered from moparonlineparts
p/n 68322798AA

I plan to put them on along with the rock krawler 1.5 boost and see how it rides.
I had planned to add the rock krawler 1.5 boost as well to offset the 1/2” loss from my winch and winch plate while adding some room for 37s. Unfortunately, when I received the rock krawler 1.5 boost it contains a 2” spacer for the front and a 3/4” spacer for the rear. I only had a 1” rake even with the winch and didn’t want my 392XRs nose up in the air, so I returned the rock krawler 1.5 boost and bought the TeraFlex 1.5” spacer kit which is 2” front and 1.5” rear. The TeraFlex spacers were the perfect solution for my needs.

Glad you got it sorted the way you want. Looks great btw.

I too received the rk kit and was a bit perplexed about the difference in front to rear of the spacers. Although the front spacer is a little difficult to measure, i only got 1.75 to the bottom of the coil wind pocket , which is the lowest part of the coil. But what really susprised me was that the spacers go on the BOTTOM of the coil and replace the oem spring correction pad, unlike every other spacer i have seen that goes on top of the coil. So i figured the difference of removing the oem pad has to also be considered. I dont know until i try, but dont want some carolina squat looking rig either. Should be illegal.

I know it sounds odd but tire pressure has a huge impact on how the JL drives and it will differ from JL to JL. The sweet spot for my 19 JLUR with heavy bumpers on D rated 35s was 33 psi. The 392XR with 315s was 31 psi and now with 37 KO2s the best ride with absolutely no highway wander is at 29 psi. Try different pressures and you may not need the LCA. I have them in my garage, but have not installed them since I like how it drives right now.

Thanks!
Maybe that is true. I didn’t like the RK design for that reason as well. I do like that the TeraFlex are stackable if I need an additional 1/2” in the front or rear after I add all of my planned mods. I agree - no carolina squat!

Yes, those are the ones. I got the ST1 (1165000) which also includes bump stops to prevent rubbing with the 37s

Sorry don’t know. I drove my Jeep back to CA from TX. It was wondering all over the lane. Went to local dealer and got the LCA and swap it the second day I got home. The longer lca definitely helps.
Mine is the same, I seen a stock print out and was seeing caster at 4.8 on another 392.
