When searching the interwebs, I have seen conflicting information regarding if jeep used the factory length Rubicon (non 392) arms or of they used the longer arms from the 2" Mopar to correct the geometry from the clearly taller 392 springs?

TIA

My October 21 production 392 non-XR has the base LCAs (P/N 68250242AB).

The part number is stamped into the arms and is relatively easy to verify with a flashlight. I had hoped it would have the longer arms too, but the caster appears to be near typical non-392 angle.

So I guess this means we’ll be better off ordering the ones from a the lift kit
Yeah, they are pretty cheap too. I had them on my Gladiator and my last Jl, I was hoping they were on the 392 to accommodate the taller springs and I could get away with a small spacer and not have a gakked up geometry. Since they may be near the limit now, not sure how much spacer would be too much. I think 3/4 is fine, but not too sure about 1.5 on top of the 392 springs with short arms....

Anyone know what the stock caster is on the 392?

I replaced mine with the ones from the 2" lift kit and also had the Teraflex 1.5 inch spacer lift put on my 392. It rides & drives much much better now and the height feels closer to what my previous JL Rubicon was with the Mopar 2" lift installed. I'm running 37 x 13.50 tires on it.

I took delivery of my 392XR 2 weeks ago for a late October build and the LCAs are the normal 24” as well. I don’t know how Jeep did it but this 392XR drives and rides so much better than my 19 JLUR with a Clayton overland lift and Fox shocks. Also, The 392XR is only 1” shorter than my lifted JLUR.

I’m glad I found this thread as I just picked up my 392XR. Did these help any of you out 68322798AA? They’re the LCAs that come with the 2in mopar lift.

I plan to put them on along with the rock krawler 1.5 boost and see how it rides.

I’m gonna order a set and toss them on and the hellwig rear sway bar. Mine tracks straight but then darts left and right.

Was mentioned on 392 FB page they made some changes to the steering gear and remapped the pump on the 392 XRs. Supposedly firmed up the feeling 🤷‍♂️

I wonder when they changed it? Mine was built the week of 11/15. It doesn’t feel horrible it just wonders pretty bad.

I had a 20 gladiator (alu box), a 21 jl rubi (steel box) and a 21 392. The suspension and steering is superior in every way on the 392.
