I am about to order a 392, but have some concerns about the alignment of the factory exhaust pipes. I've only seen a couple 392's in person, and the left and right factory quad exhaust tips weren't symmetrical. The passenger side exhaust was clearly visible, whereas the driver's side was tucked up into the frame and hard to see. Can 392 owners with factory exhaust please weigh in here and tell me if this is common issue? Thanks in advance!

I have noticed a few to also be out of spec as well. It is up to the dealer to catch it during it’s Pretty Delivery Inspection, but often gets overlooked. I do believe It’s an easy fix, each pipe is clamped on to the muffler which allows for adjustment.

It’s a very easy fix, less than 5min in the driveway. The driver side isn’t released all the way down the way it should from the factory. You loosen a pinch bolt and tug it a few times and it’s fixed. There is a good thread on how to do it over on the Jeep392 forums site. If you plan on off-roading it in rocks those tips will get bashed flat anyway.

Common issue but it's super super easy to fix.

Mine had the exact same thing. Bugged me right away to look at it. Loosened it and fixed the one side. Super easy, 2 min tops with an impact.

this bothered me as well.

hard to read the tape but they were 1.5" off from left to right. tried to adjust the passenger side tips but didn't fix it. Thanks for the details about adjusting the entire muffler.

Once I aligned them, and the left was 2 1/2 too high, it actually got quieter.
