My bad if this has been covered in a thread, I didn't find info on specific HD improvements. I'm wondering about the complete axle assembly, more than just axle shafts and ujoints. Has anything special been done to handle the HP and torque increase ?

The 392 uses the Gladiator Mojave front axles with the thicker tubes and cast iron knuckles. The rear axle has thicker axle tubes and modified suspension hard points.

Also removed FAD from the front axle on 392’s to improve strength

The 392's axles sound like a nice upgrade for my JLR on 37's. Have the axle shafts and u-joints been increased ? If so I'm definitely on the hunt for a takeoff pair in the near future.

Thanks for replies. I just found a thread that covers the 392 front axle pretty well and agrees with info being posted here. I hope the Rubicon selectable FAD can swap into the 392 auto FAD housing. Looking forward to swap threads into non-392's. Cheers
