My 23 392 XR has had an update. Order was confirmed on June 10, it went scheduled on Sept 23, and went into production Oct 11. Estimated deliver is Nov 28th. Pretty stoked!

Wondering what is holding this one up???

Mine was in limbo a while as well. Order confirmed June 10, scheduled Sept 23, and in production Oct 11.

23 392 Firecracker red, XR pack, tow pack, hardtop head liner, off road cam, stain black grill, upper side graphic, all weather mats. I don't really know how it all works. Maybe some parts slow some up or maybe certain colors, not sure!

Just heads up.. Doesn't seem to be a lot of rhyme or reason as to which dealerships' orders get picked up, and in what order.

I ordered my '22 392 on December 6th of 2021 from a mid-sized local Jeep dealer who had already sold a few 392s, and insisted that they had open allocations. Over six months later, with still no build date scheduled we gave up and bought a similar one that showed up at a dealership about an hour away. I think another month passed before we got the notice from our original dealership that it had finally been scheduled for production.

I watched lot's of 392 orders on various forums who ordered in Jan, Feb, and even a couple in March that were already built and delivered by the time we finally gave up in June.

We kept asking the dealership if there was an option we chose that was holding ours up, and he asked his Jeep rep at least a couple times throughout that time, but he was told no each time.

Don't mean to scare you, and hopefully your order won't be anything like ours, (in fact, when we ordered the 2021 that we sold to buy this one, it was nice, smooth, and simple with no delays.)

I just wanted to mention that the dealers will only be able to tell you what Jeep/FCA/Stellantis tells them, and it often isn't much. ?‍

Just food for thought, hopeful you get some good news soon!

The dealership already had it on order but no VIN number was assigned yet so he went in and modified it to my specs. It did already have the Extreme Recon package on it though so there were only like 2 or 3 things that I changed.
