After you get some seat time, let us know how you like ride. It’s nice to see a new lift option besides Clayton and metal cloak that is 392 specifically designed. I have always felt AEV makes some very nice stuff.
Thank you and your Jeep looks awesome!
I’ve put just over 2,000 miles on it now…The ride is absolutely sublime. The spring and shock tuning from AEV is out of this world! I had ordered their high capacity springs, but they weren’t available at the time of my build, and now I’m really glad I didn’t get them. I’ve flexed it out at every angle possible and have zero contact anywhere. The geometry correction brackets make the on road dynamics as good as stock, no driveline vibration, tracks straight…Very pleased with the setup.

What is total height with the aev lift? Considering the 2.5” aev lift with the bilstein 8100’s but am curious how much more height it gives since a lot of the lifts are based on stock rubicon heights and not the factory 392 heights. Any one have measurements to top of vehicle or anything??

The AEV 2.5” is 1” taller than a 392.

Looks great!

They seem to be preferring the full width bumpers on their latest builds. I’m curious why that is.
I'm not sure what you mean. They're custom builds, so they build what people order.

agreed. My use of “they” was incorrect. Just noticing that many people are preferencing the full width vs the stubby.
I don't understand it either, but some people like the wider look or possibly want the additional safety by not having the tires exposed. One of the first mods to my previous JLUR was removing those end caps.

I do prefer the look of the full width, it does also provide more protection, but what really sealed the deal for me was the fact that the end caps are still removable. Win win.

I love the little touches like the rubber cushions for your knees when working on the engine. No visible welds is pretty nice too.
