I think I've heard of JK's running 35s at stock height but what about 37s on a stock JL Rubi? Does anyone have any plans to try this? Im talking on the trail, flexed out, and disconnected.

I think it could be done with flat fenders and minor trimming. I ran 37s on my stock suspension JK for a week or two before I had time to install my lift. The JLR seems to have much more clearance than the JK in stock form.

Did you take it off road at all? Was there any rubbing?

Looking at pics of ace engineering’s Jeep sport with 35s it would be too tight for any travel. On a Rubi maybe 2” more but would still be tight and look pretty silly.
I think the mopar 2” mojito Jeep they have with 35s looks awesome, so probably 3-4” lift would be the sweet spot giving you plenty of travel.
Imagine hitting a pot hole or speed bump and rubbing. Kinda strange to have a Jeep that can’t go off-road, much less mall speed bumps

I would have had to add some bump stops to keep it from rubbing off-road, or do some more cutting to the inner wheel arch. I was just pointing out that if the JLR is said to work with 35s stock I'm sure it will work with 37s and flat fenders that provide an inch or two more clearance.

I think your numbers are off.

The JL Rubicon has 33 as stock. They have said that an you can step up to 35s without any other mods necessary.
