I finally got around to uploading my video showing off how the Nitto Ridge Grappler 37's fit on the Wrangler 392 stock wheels with no lift. They look amazing, ride great and didn't really hurt the acceleration of the 392, but I do have some rubbing on the lower control arms at full turn, and it does rub the rear inner fender liners when I flexed it out. Let me know if you all have any questions.

I enjoyed the video! I was surprised to learn that the 392 doesn't have a true lift kit, just longer springs. I look forward to seeing which lift you put on your rig.

Longer sway bar links. Longer shocks. Control arms are longer. So basically it is a lift. I don’t know who told him that. We had a 21 2.0 right next to my 392 and did the measurements. Maybe mine is different. Lol

Scott Blum who works for Jeep Wrangler Product planning is the one who corrected me when I called it a lift kit in a previous video. He explained it is not a lift “kit” like the Mopar Lift Kit. It’s just some different parts that make it sit higher.

That makes more sense to me. Seems like longer springs without adjusting the other components would create some issues.

I believe the control arms are the same as any other JL. I remember reading someone verified the measurements at 24” center eye-to-eye

That’s correct, I’m pretty sure I measured mine at 24”.

Loved the video @ShockerRacing thanks for your insight thus far. I want to run the same 37x12.5 RGs but on 17x9 wheels. Curious if you or any other folks who watched the video think a +1 offset (Fuel Shock) wheel (which I believe should add about an inch of space) plus new inner fender liners like AALs would eliminate the rubbing in the front and the stuffed rear. Thanks!

"Different parts that make it sit higher". Yep. Definitely not a lift.

It doesn't matter, really. Interested in what's next.

I am running 35 KM3s and mine is definitely a step slower.

Yeah, it’s obviously not gonna be as fast as it is on 33’s but I don’t feel the 37’s hurt the driving experience. And the 392 has more than enough power for climbing any obstacle.

I agree. These are E rated too so they def drag a bit being heavier and aired down to something suitable.

The dealer had the 33s so full of air that it felt like it was riding on casters at highway speeds. If I aired these up to 80 they’d feel faster lol.

You should do a 0-60 with the 37s for acceleration comparison.

I should take it back to the track and see what it runs now. I’m also still working on removing the top speed limiter.
