2024 JL Rubicon Extreme Recon
Hi guys, my first post here. I just traded my 2 door JK for a 4 door JL. I have a 2024 Rubicon with the Extreme Recon Package. It came stock with the 35" equivalent KO2s which I took off and sold. I have installed a set of 37x12.5r17 KM3s. I am just here to report that I have no rubbing! Factory suspension and wheels. I do get fairly aggressive off road so this is not just an around the town rig. I have done some mild stuff so far and tried flexing out as best I can on some dirt piles to see if it will rub at full flex and haven't had any rubbing so far. From what I can tell if it rubs anywhere it will be the bulge behind the rear tire in front of the rear bumper. I will be taking the rear plastic bumper off at some point in favor of an aftermarket steel bumper anyway and that plastic will go with it, so I'm not too concerned with that. I did have to move the third brake light up a screw hole to accommodate the spare but that was no big deal.

I took a few measurements in case you want to compare to some other lifts:
Floor to bottom of factory rock slider - 19" at the front and 21" at the rear
Floor to bottom of frame - 16" behind front tire and 17" in front of rear tire.

Congrats on the new Jeep. That’s the exact build I’ve been waiting for Jeep to finish since July.
I’m going the same route with 37s but I’ll be adding a Clayton 3.5” lift.

Have any pics from the front and rear?

Just noticed that your '24 XR doesn't have the fender extensions. Did they remove th for 2024?

Yes 37”s fit the XR, rubbing in rear inner fender. Can be mitigated with bump stop landing pads.

Ali went with 2.5” lift to better fit the 37” later on:

True BUT the BFG's run small and the NITTOs are almost true to size, so thats one spot that makes a BIG difference.

Good point. I don’t run 37” myself, I remember reading the mounted KO2 37” is normally about 35-1/4”, the Nitto could be 1/2” bigger.

I still like the look of the older ones (with the full assortment of bolts though). Granted Ive gotten used to mine now after almost a week.
