When I first bought mine it came with 37x13.5x20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT's on fuel rims. I have since swapped out for 38x12.5x17 load range C Nittos on Teraflex Nomads. Here is the original setup.

37x13.50R20 nitto mud grapplers

I do agree with most regarding 20's and the wagon wheel look. UNLESS you find the right wheels. I think I have enough sidewall. The mud grapplers are heavy and wide though. Hope this helps.

I agree, the wheel choice is a major factor, but there are a ton of 20s/38s and 20s/40s setups that look fantastic and have plenty sidewall.

37" tires, 20" wheel = 8.5" of sidewall
33" tires, 17" wheel = 8" of sidewall
Which is why I wouldn’t air down a stock 33 on 17s to less than 15 psi. That said, most people I know that are running 20s aren’t going places where airing down matters anyway.

Some butts can be seriously hurt based on upgrades you made to YOUR Jeep. Why my or your actions that don't involve or affect someone else shows they have the issue. You do you!

I've always thought that your tire should be double your rim size. example 15=30s 17=34s 20=40 18=38-40. Rule of thumb for me I guess, and it keeps it looking proportionate and capable.
