The 13.50 fits through my car washes but I tried the Cooper SST Pro 37 13.50 17 and did not like it. Several reasons one I can feel the extra width of the tire I mean that was okay look cool everyone said that's a beast but I had a hard time getting it driving straight I had several people align it I even put adjustable front control arms on the front. It's still wandered all over the road and I had people knew what they were doing friend of mine has an off-road shop he did an old school way where he measured everything and liked it instead of just the computer and it just he said I can get them dressed straight sometimes and sometimes they don't they were talking about putting adjustable ball joints or new ball joints to get it drive straight I didn't want to do all that on a new Jeep with less than 20,000 miles on it. My buddy is a manager of a Discount Tire he took care of me I had about 7,000 miles or less on the tire he just wrote them off his bad tires and we traded them in and he put me back to Cooper SST Pro 37 1250 17 drove so good I'm so happy and that's what I'm sticking with. I agree the 1350 looks good the 1250 looks like you took a break and stood it up on the end it's too skinny but that's why when people keep the stock wheels and put tires on them it's still drives great because of the factory wheel too it's not pulling the tire out but you made a good choice staying with 1250s do you have any pics

I went with the Cooper STT PRO 37x12.5R17 tires on a ATX Slab 9" wheel. I did not want the 13.5 wide tires because I knew that I would not be able to go through the auto drive through car wash. That might not be a big deal to some, but Michigan has shit weather about 9 months out of the year. I buy the car wash pass for their best wash at $40 a month. My tires stick out past the fender. If there is any moisture on the road, my jeep is fucked up and dirty as if I was off roading all day. So the drive through car wash is important.

I do not think the 12.5 wide tires vs the 13.5 is that big of a deal.

I also buy the unlimited it cost me $15 a month at the car wash and it's a good one it's just they don't rip people off like some of them 15 bucks a month unlimited it pays for itself on one time it just has to be taken out of your checking account every month and a lot of people don't want to do that I drive up and I have my own private Lane members only two other lanes are all the way out to the street I just wave and keep on driving through it's great to have the arm lift up and it's a good car wash

can you run 37 x 13.50 tires on Mopar beadlock wheels with a Mopar 2' lift? These are 17" x 8" wheels with a backspacing of 4.4" (12mm offset). Would i need to add spacers for backspace?

I have the Mopar 2-inch lift but it actually lifts the Jeep about 3 in that's why I went with it they called it too but it's actually a 3 and yes I have 37 12.50 17 I used to have the 13.50 I didn't like the way it road. it was hard to get a good alignment for me. some people don't have a problem but it was for me and I like the way the 12.50 feels better going down the highway

Like others say it all depends on what you want to do with it.

Wider is for flotation environments like Sand, Snow, Mud. Negative for wider tires is rubbing, harder to turn, tougher to proper balance, and severely increases wear on steering and suspension components as well as drive train.

Narrow tires or better for dry, hills, rocks, shallow snow or mud, and street. A lot of 12.5" tires now measure closer to 13" or more. Even the 11.5" tires that I like to run measure closer to 12" in reality. I use tiresize.com to get the true measurement of any tire that I am ordering as some 13.5" tires are actually wider than 13.5". I'll never actually run a 13.5" tire on anything I own as I drive a lot of miles on all my vehicles anyways and don't want the increased maintenance life on my fleet. Here is a pick of the Nitto 11.5" on my F-450 for example. You'd never think they were an 37x11.5R20. And I will have pictures of our 392 with 11.5" Nitto next week on 8.5" AEV wheels.

I preferred the 40x12.5 actually on all my rigs and have never run a 40" since they went to making them all 13.5 or now 15.5. I don't live in the south or north and can't stand wide tires spitting rocks down the side of my vehicles. Also here is a picture of my '05 that I always ran 40x12.5 on. No one ever said they look like a pizza.

The main thing you need to pay attention to is the load range. For instance, the Ridge Grappler 37/1250 is a D load range and the 37/13.50 is an E load range. E is going to ride stiffer than a D, and if its wider you're going to ride more in the middle of the tire on a light weight vehicle like our Jeeps with 8 - 9" wide wheels.
That's another thing I didn't like about my 13.50s and why I went back to 12.50 is on the 37s I had to run a lot lower air pressure. Which they say is okay since it's a stiff tire but there's no need to put it E rated Tire on a Jeep. That's why a lot of your 40s are C rated tires. Because they know they'll probably go on a Jeep in certain brands

I am looking at the Cooper STTs in 37x13.50r17 for my JLURXR will a 13.50 fit on the XR beadlock wheels?? Its an 8in wide wheel and I have seen peopke running 13.50s on the.mopar accessory wheels, did not know if they are wider or not.

I'm not looking to run spacers if I can avoid it.

Youll be hard pressed to find a shop that will put 13.5"s on an 8" wheel I think. Guys in here have had trouble getting 35X12.5 on stock wheels (Discount apparently does it though, just not sure on a 13.5")

13.5 x 37 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Easy to turn, drives straight with hands off the wheel. Look WAY better than 12.5 inch pizza wheels
