Hello all, a little help needed on my JL Sport. I'm trying to make my final decision by this weekend.

From what I understand, I can put 35" tires on it with a 2.5" lift. My question is, what's the minimum lift needed to be able to add 37" tires and still not have any rub? Be at mind, I'm not worried about the stock flares because I'm planning on removing them anyways. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Not trying to hijack the thread, but.... people can say whatever they want about "all the grey colors" on Wranglers and yet that Granite Crystal is still the most bad ass color you can pick on a Wrangler. Wow. Nicely done sir.

Thanks. I was torn when I bought mine but I’m glad I went with the Granite Crystal. Ultimately I decided to get the color to match my bike. Before the lift and tires I still questioned whether or not I made the right choice but I love the look with the gray wheels.

DId you re-gear for 37’s? Auto or manual?

Nice looking Jeep.
Automatic with stock gears. I lifted it with the plan of re-gearing in the near future but to be honest it drives really well and I’m not as concerned about it now.

I've seen a few pics of Mopar 2" (ish) lift with 37s. They look great, and not bad, but still, I opted for 3.5" to give even more room. Pics coming soon.

Here is my sport soft top with a skyjacker 2.5” lift - these are 285/75/17 ridge Grapplers almost 34”. I have room for 37s probably not much upward flex but they will fit

Did you ever install the 3.5? Pics? Interested in doing the same thing. Thanks!
