37s on the stock Rubi wheels (with a lift of course)!? Any issues?
Nope. I don’t even run spacers. 2” Mopar lift.

I am happy running 35" KO2's on 8.5"x17" wheels (5.2" backspace) with a Mopar lift (adjustable arms and trackbars) on my JLR. Proportionally I think this combination looks OEM...Yet she rides and handles better-on and off road!

That said, if/when BFG comes out with a KO3, I might upgrade to 37's...This would also be the push needed for me to re-gear to 4.88's!

Did you re-gear for the 37s?
No need with the auto and turbo. I actually couldn’t tell I changed tire size. If you have the manual it would be helpful. The V6 auto is a very minimal change on 37s

Why did you go back? Did you have to deal with other issues, or just MPG concerns?
They were well used and dirt cheap, so I bought them just to see if I liked the size on stock wheels. I wanted to keep my stock wheels and those tires were just not a good fit on those rims, not even sure how the previous owner got a shop to mount them on the narrow factory rims. MPG was not on my radar.

When comparing 35 vs 37, is the weight or the diameter MORE of an issue for wear & tear on other parts and MPGs. I am down to either the largest 35s (true to size) Nitto Ridge Grappers or the smallish 37s BFG KM3. Both weight almost the same, so does that mean they have the same affect on MPGs & ball joints & brakes & stuff?

Well, since my post #36 above, I have decided to go to 37"s! My local Discount Tire is set to pounce on the new BFG KO2 37x12.50R17 C when they are released June 1st. They weigh just 64.8 pounds, really light for a 37" AT tire! We can thank Ford for these as they are being made for OEM on the new Ford Raptor. (And rumors for a Bronco Warthog) I am also regearing to 4.88's with Dana chromoly axle shafts in the rear and Dana UD44 Advantek in the front.

I will be mounting the 37's on new Mopar off road wheels and will post my current 35" KO2's (under 12,000 miles) and mint Hardrock 17"x8.5" wheels for sale.
