Headed to tire shop to get these 37x12.50 Toyo RTs installed on my stock JLUR. Was going to hold til steering issue was fixed but with plans to lift anyway, I’ll be doing beefier track bar and steering linkages anyway. Jeeps fix is not something I’m interested in.

Will post several pics when it’s done. And yes, 5 fit in the JLU with hardtop no issues

I’m glad you posted this. The wheels/tires are going to beat the lift here so I was wondering if I’d be able to keep my tire appointment. New shoes going on Tuesday, lift should be here shortly after and with the long weekend shouldn’t be any problem getting it installed.

How are you liking the R/T’s? Noise? Road manners?
Love em so far. Quiet for the type of tire they are and really good in the rain which is important to me down here where it monsoons often. If you’re running stock wheels, you’ll need to bring down the pressure in them. My theory is the narrow wheel pinches the tire and bulges the center portion out more. I’m running 23 rear and 24 front cold. They are wide for a 12.50 which I like and measure 36.6 tall. Very comfortable on the road and highway. Eager to get them in the muck and see how they perform. Just welcomed our daughter to world so it may be a bit. Definitely recommend them.

Also recommend the STT Pros. Had them on a few other applications. Only got these because I got a phenomenal deal and they are more of a hybrid which was important as I previously mentioned with the rain down here. The road are poorly drained and get slick. Was afraid an MT wouldn’t perform well
