I’ve read enough threads on here regarding which tires to go with for a lifetime. So for fun, if you’re the type that feels like sharing, and you feel strongly about your tires or have a strong opinion in regards to what to shy away from, share it. All opinions welcome.
I’m going 37”, the exact measurement isn’t important, I will be using the headlock 392 wheels, my build will be either 3-3.5” of lift on my JLU rubicon, I’ll be installing a fridge and steel bumpers winch etc. this is my exploration overland/crawl/road trip vehicle. On road performance in snow and rain and quietness is important but also, the ability to be durable and not chunk when we crawl with the local jeep club. I do some desert crawling, high speed sandy driving and also enjoy the snow and snow camp a couple times a year. I’m looking for the best at these needs, or whatever is considered the best by your opinions. I’ve ran toyo open countries, patagonias, kenati mud hogs, ko2’s, and nitro ridge grapplers. On my truck, the Toyo’s have been my favorite, on the wranglers in my past, the ko2’s I have now on my stock rubicon are my fav. Followed by the ridge grapplers, (Hated the Patagonia’s). Anyways, 🍻 thank you in advance
I just made the swap from ko2 to maxxis razr and they’re great. My first set of tires I’ve used were Falken wild peaks and they are great, then went to ko2 because I wanted to be like the cool kids. After 15k they were worn down pretty decent.
I opted for the razr and I think this is my new route. I’ve got 5k on them now and with a 3.5 mc lift they are super solid

Looks good! Always really liked the Milestar tires. Never disappointed me. The wheels look good with the Sarge as well.

Do you have Gladiator shocks front and back?

I've been thinking about the Razr's for my next set. Looking for longevity in my next set.

Yeah, longevity wise I don’t have that answer just yet. I’m hoping they last a decent amount of time but I do wheel harder with my new setup so we will see

Yes I have the gladiator shocks front and back with with spacers kinda put together lift kit to fit the tires until I decide long term which lift to do. They are awesome just soft.

What modifications did you do to get them to work in the rear?

Also love the gold on your Rubicon sticker. Did you get it custom made?

I just ordered the 392 version from Amazon! Haha
Also because it’s a stationary part I used x32 (8 each side of the shock body) 13mm flat washers superglued them together for installation purposes. Sounds sketch but it’s a stationary part that just needs spacing, the extruding spacer attached to the correct shock is nothing more than a rubber shim stack.
