Any other examples of this setup? Going to put my AEV Borahs (JK) and 37 KO2s on my new JL until I can figure out which lift I want to get. Really waiting to see what AEV offers and the Maximus-3 2.5.

PS anyone put their 37 spare on stock tailgate? If I do it I don’t plan on doing it for long. I figure the BFG 37 is closer to a 35 anyhow.

Yes here's mine with no lift before and after you tell me what looks better and be honest !it's okay if you're just going to go to the mall and back if you want a mall crawler. if you plan on going off road at all you will rub bad and hit you have to have some kind of lift with 37s are you doing stuffing it in there like I said and it will rub what's the point ?

It’s a personal choice...
My 1999 TJ with a 2” lift and 35” tires went all over The place back in the day.
It’s all about having fun

Looks good I've decided to go with Nitto Ridge Grapplers next week when I do my lift. Now after driving my JL for 2 weeks with these KO2s and it being so quiet doing 80 mph and didnt even realize I was going that fast. Kind of nice to be quiet and not hear that roar after 40 something years. even though the Cooper stt is pretty quiet for a mt even my wife and daughter has said please don't put another mud tire we're tired of the noise. LOL. I guess I realize what everyone's been saying the Nitto Ridge Grappler is pretty aggressive looking and actually gives you two side walls to choose from and it's pretty quiet and still looks pretty good so I'm going with that tire 37 12-5-17 . I was hoping I could drive it for a couple days after I put the tires on before I can get to the shop for the lift. I guess I can because yours has the tires without the lift right now. Does it rub very bad without the lift ?
I'm curious why more folks who want a quiter hybrid tire dont look at the Cooper ST Max 37/12.50/17 load d. It's lighter than the ridge grappler and still looks good. I am a once/month offroad guy that drives 25k miles/yr and am running a 35" ko2 and it drives like a hwy tire on rd. I want to go to a 37" hybrid at some point that is lighter and retains a quiet ride. Looking at milestar's, stt maxx, ko2's. Thoughts?

RK lift is a month out but I couldn’t wait to slap on these 37/13.50’s

This is a -12 offset for those trying to decide
This is the exact size tire I am looking at. Granted in the NITTO Ridge Grapplers (I have Toyo R/T's on my truck and love them). ANY rub without the lift (daily driving, not offroading)?

I am running 37 Copper STT Pro tires with no lift. Why because the lift is in the garage and it is so fucking cold out. Fuck laying on cold concrete and even if I take tools in the house in 15 minutes they are so cold that they numb up your hands trying to use them. I have offroaded some, with out the lift, but even a mild flex puts the tires into the fenders. So very slow and very mild = no fun.... So the lift will go on. Personally, I love the look of 37s with no lift.

37’s on a stock wrangler is about as useful as a 2 wheel drive wrangler. What’s the point ?
If you use it for anything other than going to the shopping mall you will tear the fenders right off of it.

The 37's on a Rubicon fit fine as long as you don't take it off road. I liked it so much (37s w/o lift) that I seriously considered no lift and flat fenders. At the time, fender options were very limited and I ultimately decided on a 2.5" lift. I drove it for a month without a lift and only had the rear tires rub once (around town).

fyi: rear tires still rub at full flex with stock bump stops and 2" lift (rear).

37s fit on back with a little bit of rub as long as you have the plastic bumpers. Not ideal, but works. My understanding is 37s doesn't fit with the steel bumper.

Looks great. Thanks for getting back to me. I think I’m going to hold off on everything until AEV stuff is available. It’s going to kill me to run stock for a while but I want to see everything I’m interested in before I make my decision.
