I finally graduated to 35x12.50s - Geolandar M/T G003 low-mileage take-offs. Super impressed so far! Surprisingly, my OEM rear tire carrier and bumper (Sport) accommodates the spare tire, although it rubs when I open and close the tailgate. I’m glad it rests on the bumper, in spite of having the Mopar tailgate reinforcement. Over bumps and jolts, the bumper takes most of the weight of the tire, not the tailgate.

My Jeep has a 3.5” JKS lift, resulting in a true and accurate 5” of lift.

By the way, your eyes are not deceiving you. Those tires ARE wrapped around my stock 17x7.5 steelies. 1.75” spacers are going on tomorrow.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Nice, although I'd find some black paint for those clamp-on weights :)

They look great You! You mention the need for spacers. Where are they rubbing?

That's a LOT of weight on that spare. That tire should be unmounted, spun on the rim and done again.
I agree. They didn’t seem to notice all of the hardened mud packed into the rim - just opposite where the weights are. I didn’t notice it either, until after it was done.

Try this instead of spacers
Knowing I didn't want to use wheel spacers on my JLUS, I went this route with these JKS adjustable front lower control arms (JKS 1625). On the OEM unit where the orange plug indicates where the tire rubbed.

There you are, Jeff. Was wondering where you were. I left late last year to teach my replacement 42 years worth of my Job in 3 months.

They offered us, old-timers, early retirement and it was a no-brainer. So retired Jan 1st. Ordered my retirement Rubicon.

So glad to see you are still around. Hope you and the little lady are doing good.

Did you get that old barn made for Jeep. Think you did something else to cover autos.

My Rubicon. Took Top off and put my Half-doors and Spiderwebshade on this weekend.

Take Care and see you around the forum.

Curtis! How you and the family doing, brother? Is your son still in Jax?

Congrats on retirement and the new Jeep! It looks sweet! I see you wasted no time on mods 🤣

Expect a bit of adjustment getting used to retirement, brother. It’s important to stay busy! We will talk more; just got up, having my first cup of joe.

Thanks. Still can't touch Mr. Roky !! :swear: Dang it some Jelly fell off my biscuit.

My biggest adjustment has been my Biological clock. I started my first cup of Joe at 5:30 am. Still cannot sleep late. :swear:

Little Lady has kept me busy so far with Honey Do that Honey Do this. lol

Yes, my son still in Jacksonville.

Family doing good. My daughter just passed her big test for her Surgical Tech certification.

During her 2 days, week hands-on training in the OR she has already seen some gnarly surgeries.

Blood and guts don't bother her. lol

Take Care !! We are getting lots of rain starting tonight here so Jeep stays in the Garage.
