This looks good. I am in the same boat wanting to keep my Altitude stock wheels till I get a lift but was thinking of going with 285/70/18 , discount says they are 33.9 and wondering if they would fit without rubbing. Here’s ours setting on 33s. We are looking to keep the stock wheels and move up to 35s with a TeraFlex lift. Just curious if anyone has mounted 35s on the stock 18s and what your thoughts are. Thanks!
I did 305 70 18 with no lift and seemed to work fine but I don't think any off-roading would work since then I added a lift but you can at least get an idea.
This is the exact look I’m going for but discount tire is trying to tell me that 35’s won’t fit on my tire, and I’ll have to buy a new rim. I know they do this to other people. So I wanted to ask you where you got your tires? Are there any issues? What brand and size? Thanks! It looks awesome!
What size lift is this?I did 305 70 18 with no lift and seemed to work fine but I don't think any off-roading would work since then I added a lift but you can at least get an idea.
I too really like the simple design of the stock Sahara rims. This will be the first vehicle in quite a while that I don't change the rims. When the tires are shot, I plan on putting on 33" BFG all terrains. I personally think 35's look a little large on a Rubicon, let alone a Sahara with the smaller fenders. After doing a lot of shopping for aftermarket rims online, I think I would kinda like the look of my Sahara rims with a meatier tire and the Mopar lift. I like all my mods to be super clean, and I just kinda like the wheel design - simple, clean, two tone and tasteful with my Sahara exterior setup of all body color. Most of the aftermarket wheels I like are black or dark and would really change the look of the vehicle.
Bump for any feedback on a Sahara with the stock 18s and no lift, and/or the Mopar 2” lift. Thinking 35s (welcome recommendations, btw).
if you have the setup, was the lift necessary? Was/is there rubbing? We’re any spacers required? Pretty new to Wrangler life, and very grateful for any information.
In for this as well. Would love to see a Mopar lifted one with 35s on stock Sahara wheels. I don't think that black one earlier in the thread was on Mopar lift. After doing a lot of shopping for aftermarket rims online, I think I would kinda like the look of my Sahara rims with a meatier tire and the Mopar lift. True 35 skinnies on 2.5” lift and stock wheels, and no wheel spacers. In for this as well. Would love to see a Mopar lifted one with 35s on stock Sahara wheels. I don't think that black one earlier in the thread was on Mopar lift.
Love this look! Read another thread describing them as “pizza cutters,” and given the superior on road manners, I’m all for it. This is really helpful. Those tires with the Mopar lift should be just about right! Thanks!True 35 skinnies on 2.5” lift and stock wheels, and no wheel spacers.

There was a very slight rub on the control arms, but I eliminated it by adjusting the steering-stop (adding a washer behind the steering-stop bolt.)Love this look! I assume you don’t have any rub? What lift is that? What about the bumper?
How much ground clearance in inches do you get with those tires and that lift on your Sahara? 12?True 35 skinnies on 2.5” lift and stock wheels, and no wheel spacers.
