I run LT285/70R17 Wrangler Duratrac's on my 2007 Wrangler. They are great tires with no road noise and a nice ride. I live in MN, they work well in the snow and mud. I rotate them every oil change with the spare. They were installed spring of 2011 and I have 94,000 miles on them. they need to be changed out this spring. I just had them balanced this past weekend, the tire shop had to check the mileage twice they couldn't believe I had that many miles on the tires. I have a 2018 Rubicon ordered, the plan is to take the factory tires from the Rubicon and mount them on my 07, then buy 35 x 12.5 Duratec's for the new beast... Can't wait to have 2 Wrangler's in the garage!
I can also share a good story with DTs.

I ran 285/70R17 on my ā€˜14 JKU in Ohio. Did great in the snow, and no road noise. I put a bit under 30k on them and they were like new when I traded in.

I ran them around 31 PSI and they werenā€™t uncomfortable but I do think a C load would be awesome, but thatā€™s tough to find.

There is a guy on another forum who claims to have 90,000 miles on Duratracs also. He runs his on a KJ I think. First time I heard that, I couldn't believe it.

My experience with them was in 33x12.50 flavor on a JKU. They were somewhat quiet at first, but got considerable louder as time went on and I rotated them every 5,000 miles. By 15,000 miles they were howliing like a mud tire. The snow and mud traction was excellent. The rain traction was miserable. The sidewalls were weak, but they were lightweight because of it and got good fuel economy. The pricing is excessively high on them. They are a great tire for some guys, and a not great tire for others.

285/75/17 ridge grapplers - load range C if you want an AT tire.....
I second this, I have E which are a little stiff but my commute is 2.5 miles. C rated they would ride like a dream.
The ridge grapplers are awesome, ride like an AT, perform like a MT, look beastly

I am going with an 18 inch rim as well. I am going with Goodyear Duratracs. They have a 35 inch tire which is D rated. I could not find any C rated 35s for an 18 inch rim. Most of what is available is E rated and I am concerned about a harsh ride as this is my daily driver.

I just looked up the 35 inches on extreme terrain and their asking for 360 a tire LOL thats alot per tire for some daily drivers unless the tire never needs to be replaced.

Just another data point - I'm running 35X12.50R18 KO2s on a 9" wide rim, and I'm very happy with them. Best tires I've ever had.

I actually think they look cooler than a lot of MTs too.

Will post some better pics once the lift is done!

I've purchased many sets of AT & MT tires including BFG KOs and GY Duratracs. If the Rubi option list included todays tires and sizes I'd pick the Duratrac in 315 70 17D. If we could design our own mine would look like the Yokohama MT G003 in 305 70 17D with more siping.

I just ordered the Ridge Grapplers in 35, the G003s got interest from me, but I couldnā€™t get enough info on their on-road manners.
