RC or anyone else that has upgraded their wheels/tires, do you happen to know which TPMS sensors the JL uses? I just ordered myself a set of KMC Beadlocks and 37's. It would be nice to have them assembled with the new TPMS sensors before my JL arrives.

Thanks!

That is what I’m using, ordered off eBay.

I'm trying to summarize everything I've read here and seen on YouTube.

* Talking only about JLU Rubicon here *

1. 35s will fit with no lift. They will not rub during normal city driving, but will not allow full articulation offroad.
2. 35s with the 2" Mopar lift will give you full articulation, and seem to be "recommended" by Jeep (ref: The Mopar Mojito build)
3. 37s will fit with the 2" lift, but like #1, will not provide full articulation.
4. An aftermarket lift will be needed for full articulation with 37s.

Do you guys think this is accurate?
Really wish I read you post an hour ago before I watched all them darn videos and read all of the post regarding 35” & 37” tires. I came up with the same conclusion.

Do you foresee any issues with having 37's and using it as a daily driver? I am looking at trading in my raptor and I am pretty sure I want 37's!
Congrats on the upgrade to a JL! The thing you need to realize is that 37s often come with many other mods needed. If all you plan on doing is driving it around then 37s are probably fine (but then why 37s?) If you want to wheel it you may want to beef up the axles eventually, change the gears, etc. May not need to do it right away but may be a good idea. I think the real question is wha do you really want to do with it. 35s on mine look big!

Looks sweet!! Any details about the lift as well as info on the wheel and tire setup?
.

No specs on the lift. Tires are 35” on 20’s.

I’m very pleased with the choice to go 37’s. Being a new model, I’m not sure how much needs to be adjusted to accommodate the larger tires. It is my daily driver, but I enjoy hitting trails and mudding every chance I get. I had a chance to really beat on it today and did not have any rubbing. 37’s with the mopar 2” lift works for me.

I swear this looks like the same ratio of tire to height as my '12 JKU with 35's and 3.5" lift. Haven't ordered my JL yet, but it certainly seems that 37's are the new 35.

And btw... your ride looks sick. Nice choices!

I 100% agree, my JK with 3.5” lift and 35’s. I only wish my JL had the half doors!!

I am leaning towards 37's..... they just look so good, but I probably don't really need them over the 35's... still have time though, got a few more weeks to decide.

i debated back and forth between 35's and 37's... i will mostly use my Jeep as DD but being close to MOAB and wanting it to still look good and perform decently i was back and forth. Thanks to all the feedback from guys on this forum and when my local Jeep mechanic bought himself a new Rubicon and did the MOPAR 2" with 37's after he did one for a customer and was so impressed i had to pay attention... he's a big Jeeper in Moab and his last JK was pretty modded out... he couldn't believe how well the 2" Mopar lift worked with the 37's, this is a conservative guy, especially when it comes to money... i went ahead and ordered my wheels and tires and lift and went 37's.. my wheels only weigh 27lbs and the tires are 69 lbs so i dont think it will feel that heavy. Its is really easy to end up with 40lb wheels and 84lb 37" tires if your not careful and then things get pretty heavy and might affect the Jeep as a DD... my new Jeep should be in anytime and will post pics and feedback as soon as i can to help others who are on the fence.

your jeep looks really good, very proportionate, thanks for all your feedback and insight, been super helpful! Smart tire and wheel combo... your 37's and wheel probably only weigh about 98lbs... :like:
