Measuring to fender is a nice quick check but different tires sizes play into that. When I measure I usually measure from metal rim on the upper spring perch down to axle or bump stop pad. Just be consistent between Jeeps or before and after you do it.. That will give you the exact. My mopar lift gave me exactly 2.5” of lift in all 4 corners from my stock Rubicon. So I wouldn’t think much more than 1” from XR to Mopar.

What year is your Rubi? I have a 2021 JLUR. Swapped to a factory steel bumper and 12k winch and now only have about 1” space left till it hits the bump stop. Don’t want a sky hi lift, just enough to get over a few more of the pesky rocks!

I had a 2021 JLUR and now a 2022 JLUR Extreme Recon. I had my Mopar 2” moved over to the Extreme Recon and I have the steel bumper and 10k Warn in it.

Thanks! There is so much misinformation about standard lift on a Rubicon and how much additional lift a Mopar 2” lift kit will provide, even amongst Jeep mechanics. I think I have most of it sorted out!

Here’s the ER with Mopar lift and the 2021 with the ER lift on it. I swapped them before trading in the 2021.

Debating going to 37s .. But in reality it seems more trouble then it’s worth, and I also do a lot of highway driving to get to a camp site.

With the setup now, on steep hills, the Jeep will drop down to 4th gear.

Yes, and every upgrade seems to lead to another upgrade. I went straight to 37's and now on 40's. It never ends. Yours looks great, sometimes I wish I had kept it more simple.
