Been around here for a while. Here's a pic of mine with K02 35's. Some changes since then, front/rear now sit a bit lower at ~2" lift vs this pic was about 3.5". The Galdiator is alos on K02 35's with a Teraflex 2.5" lift kit.

Edit: found and added some more pics: Snow pic and the one in the forest both running Dynatrac 2" lift kit at the time. Lake pic is running about a 3.5" kit.

What made you decide to switch to the 2” lift from the 3.5”?

Lost story short, I initial got the Dynatrac 2" lift kit (finally posted for sale now).

I then wanted to upgrade to a 2.5-3" lift with the shocks I wanted. So, I ordered Fox 3.0 DSC shocks made for a 2-3" lift. Its crucial to have the shocks around their mid-range travel at ride height for best performance. I initially did my research for spring rates/lengths and decided to go with Synergy 3" springs. Unfortunately, they were way off. The front looked to be 3.5-4" lift and the rear ~3.5" lift. I then changed to Evo 2.5" springs and these seamed to be just right but need the rear a little higher now ~.75" due to now added weight.

Unless you have a bunch of armor weight, a MC 2.5 will yield a 3" lift. The 3.5 is over 4". This is a MC 2.5 and 37s. Losing the top and doors picked up a little.

Really love your build! What can you tell me about the closed toe-hook on your front bumper. I have been looking for that but have not found one for the factory steel bumper.

How far out of the fenders are you with the 1.75 spacer? Looks great!

That’s awesome! I was there twice today actually 🙄😂

We live about 5 mins from there...sounds like we’ll have to meet up sometime. I waited 5 weeks for my wheels from Venomrex. I finally gave up and ordered them on Amazon and they came 3 days later. It cost more because I had to pay tax but it was worth it just to finally get them. Which ones did you go with?

Me too, I live in Amberly. We are trying to plan a Uwharrie run for the local crowd.

I have the Graphite 501s on the way.

I've never been to Uwharrie but I would love to make the trip. I had a TJ on 35's but I sold it back in the early 00's and I just got this JL about a month ago. I'm going to Hurricane Creek tomorrow, it will be my first time doing any sort of trail in a long time.
