Threads like this need a warning cause it’s evil.

I’m sitting here already planning for 35s on my sport but then see 37s look right on the jlu making me think 35s look small. But then i’m gonna look at regearing and lockers. But the cost might be equal to me just buying rubi take offs.

And that’s the rabbit hole i see

How do you like the Cooper's vs the Pats? I will be ditching the Pats soon and thinking going back to Toyo MT or to Cooper STT pro. Thoughts?

I like the Coopers over the Pats because they are more flat and feel more planted. They are a little noisier but they are also at 50% where the Pats are around 90% left. The Pats are also a stiff ride if you run them at 30-32psi. Ironically the 38" Pats are a C rating vs. D rating so they ride smoother. I run the Pats at 24psi cold for my wife sicne she has a neck fusion and they are too stiff of a ride above that.
I also don't like the way the Pats feel in the rain. The Mrs. likes them but does note she feels a little iffy in the rain.

That C-rating is what made me skip over the 37's for a set of 38x13.50's. I run them at a cold 35psi, and they translate much less of the small cracks and bumps to the driver seat than the factory 285 ko2's. No slip in everything from that initial misting to full on torrential downpours. My driving habits are middle ground, not racing around and not taking it slow.

Posted these same pics in other threads but here is my entry with the Mopar lift on Fuel Ammo Anthracite 17x9" (-12mm offset) with the Goodyear 35x12.5x17 Duratrac Wrangler ATs. I went with this rubber for their lighter weight, winter performance and overall All Terrain rating since this is my everyday driver. Even though they are load rated 'E' riding them at 35 on-road and 15 psi off they seem to perform well everywhere I've taken them so far. I really do like the ride, performance and looks.
