good point, i would like to see them and any 35's with aftermarket wheels on a stock lift Rubi too... @mbuck45 posted a nice pic of these tires aleady but with stock wheel, check them out.I'd really like to know how the 315 70 17 ko2s will look without a lift on the rubicon. And will they rub at full articulation? I'd like to do that if I can. Maybe just a 1" puck in front and back would do the trick ? Anyone?
Most on the forum seem to think 35s would rub on a rubicon but 315 70 17s should be more like 34" and I haven't heard anyone mention maybe just adding an inch puck. I'm really hoping it will work and look right.good point, i would like to see them and any 35's with aftermarket wheels on a stock lift Rubi too... @mbuck45 posted a nice pic of these tires aleady but with stock wheel, check them out.
Stop that - my wallet already hurts....Here is a great comparison that Cross Jeep posted that has a stock JLUR parked beside a JLUR w/ the 2" Mopar Performance Lift kit and 35's:
Nice, cant wait to see! I think you'll have a winning combo! I cancelled my 37's the other day and im going with Black Rhino Barstow wheels or Fuel Podiums with MasterCraft MTX 315/70/17's and a 2" lift. Looks great and still a civil DD.After seeing those comparisons I am going with the 2 inch mopar tomorrow morning. I’ll post pics when I pick it up.

Update: My lift kit arrives from Quadratec on Friday. I'm getting the 35's installed on the Jeep Saturday, and I'll probably look to make an appointment to get the lift installed Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll try and get the speedo flashed Saturday after the tires go on. I found another dealer that said they'd do it in about a minute for $120 bucks. That's not cheap, but it is less than the $400 programmer my dealer wants to sell me that doesn't even exist for the JL yet.My dealer told me tonight they can't flash the speedo for 35s. They said they use aftermarket programmers for the JKs they've done.
Can dealers do it, but mine just doesn't know how? Are there any programmers out for the JL yet? Maybe my dealer does it their way to sell expensive programmers?
My 35s arrived at Discount Tire today, so I'm ready to install, but want the speedo to be right.
I’ll be able to measure that for you tomorrow.Anyone able to measure the overall height of a JKUR with Mopar 2" lift and 35" tires? I believe the stock height is around 73". Hoping to keep it under 6' 10" to make it into airport parking....
Yeah, it won't be far off, but I want it right on, so that the traction control and stability control work properly. When I went to 33's on my JK, the speedo wasn't off much, but it dramatically reduced the effect of the traction control. I want the speedo to be spot-on.I’ll be able to measure that for you tomorrow.
Do you guys feel the flash is needed with the 35’s?

Well, there will be programmers, like from AEV, but they aren't out yet and won't be for awhile. So, you are pretty much stuck with the dealerships that can/will do it. It isn't a do it yourself job, unless you are Bill Gates. How difficult is it to re program your self? Is it something that can be done easily kr is there A lot involved?
Well I’m holding out for the diesel so they should have the programmers out by then. Is it worth spending the money and getting one and doing it your self or better to just have dealer do it?Well, there will be programmers, like from AEV, but they aren't out yet and won't be for awhile.
