I like the Coopers over the Pats because they are more flat and feel more planted. They are a little noisier but they are also at 50% where the Pats are around 90% left. The Pats are also a stiff ride if you run them at 30-32psi. Ironically the 38" Pats are a C rating vs. D rating so they ride smoother. I run the Pats at 24psi cold for my wife sicne she has a neck fusion and they are too stiff of a ride above that.
I also don't like the way the Pats feel in the rain. The Mrs. likes them but does note she feels a little iffy in the rain.
That C-rating is what made me skip over the 37's for a set of 38x13.50's. I run them at a cold 35psi, and they translate much less of the small cracks and bumps to the driver seat than the factory 285 ko2's. No slip in everything from that initial misting to full on torrential downpours. My driving habits are middle ground, not racing around and not taking it slow.

Posted these same pics in other threads but here is my entry with the Mopar lift on Fuel Ammo Anthracite 17x9" (-12mm offset) with the Goodyear 35x12.5x17 Duratrac Wrangler ATs. I went with this rubber for their lighter weight, winter performance and overall All Terrain rating since this is my everyday driver. Even though they are load rated 'E' riding them at 35 on-road and 15 psi off they seem to perform well everywhere I've taken them so far. I really do like the ride, performance and looks.

Thanks man. Yeah I know I'll be ditching the Pats. Same thing. Have worn out fast, I like the ride fine but they've gotten loud and you have to deflate them to get good contact because they made them round. I'll go with the Cooper's or the Toyo MTs. Thanks for the input.

I’ll throw in another vote for the STT Pros. I originally wanted them because they are on the lighter side, they look awesome, and I have seen very few bad reviews of the tires. But when I started looking for tires, the Pats were $115 a tire cheaper and I haven’t seen many bad reviews (other than tread life) on them either. Fortunately, by the time I got my lift installed, the Pats had gone up $50 a tire, so I went ahead and got the Coopers.

I have been SUPER happy with the STT Pros! They are surprisingly quiet and handle well on the road. They are excellent off road (at least on moderate trails). The only downside is that they are E rated in the 315/70/R17 so the ride is a little rough...but it’s not too bad.

Here is my Sport S with a 3.5” Metalcloak Gamechanger (Rocksport shocks) with 35” Cooper STT Pros.

How are the tires holding up to wear / has road noise increased?? Been eyeing KM3s as my next set for my JLR - can't decide between 35 or 37.
They been working out great for us. The wear seems normal for these type of tires. They did get a bit louder with more miles, but still very quiet for a M/T tire. Just gotta make sure to do your regular 5 tire rotation. They do good on the rocks also. I air them down between 6-8 psi normally when off-road. I would say get the 37s. I am thinking of moving up to their 39s after this set runs out and I lift my Jeep more.

Well I guess I’m homeless.

I don’t fit in this thread anymore now that I’m on 39” KM3s and I can’t play in the 40’s thread LOL!

Installed the 39x13.50 BFG KM3s yesterday along with a set of the Powertank Monster Valves. Can’t wait to try these things out.

MetalCloak 3.5” GameChanger. Really like this lift. Ride is amazing with tons of flex.
I know what you mean, I'm running 3.5" G.C. on my JKU, incredible lift.

I'm hoping to be moving to a JLU soon I hope. I'll be running the MetalCloak Game Changer lift under the JL. The DuroFlex joint is magic.
