The bottom picture features the winter (studded) shoes — Grabber ATX.

Here’s what the XDs look like with painted rings:

The rings come from XD red, as shown in the pictures below.

My Jeep is the gray one. The yellow one belongs to my brother.

We both thought the red looks better with the gray jeep because the gray came with more red factory accents, but we both thought there were better alternatives for the yellow one. My brother called XD, and they were willing to ship black rings for about $100 per ring… so he decided to repaint the red ones on his own. He used rattle cans. (Rustoleum?)

From what I've read so far 2.5 GC from Metalcloack will allow me to run 37x12.5x17 with 4.5 backspace and -15 offset. So decided to state saving up in hopes of purchasing the upgrade by November.

What is this current setup in the pictures? trying to get ideas for my 24 2 door and I like this look.

edit: hard to tell on my screen but they look like 35x12.50r17, is the jeep lifted?

Those wheels look a lot like a true block really close I don't want real bead locks My buddy has a off-road shop and he said people come in that want bee locks they got to have them to be cool and they don't even go off-roading or if they do You don't he said you don't need air down past 10 to 12 PSI for most off-road parks or trails only a few people really need them to do hardcore air down way low

I've read a few examples of guys going to single digit psi on non beadlocks w/o issues too

They look similar, but they’re not true bead-locks. I don’t run them below 12 psi

Dumping a handful from the last 12 months on the XR wheels + 37" KM3s. This is metalcloak control arms but 2.5" 2 door Rock Krawler springs that are usually loaded down with gear. Likely going to 2.5" 4 door springs or just fresh metalcloak springs as I think I've sagged these a little over the past 3 years of wheeling.

The 37 KM3s are IMO the best 2 door tire for all around west coast use. They run a little smaller than most 37s which makes for great proportions on the 2 door in my eyes.

Are you running without any tailgate reinforcement? Any issues?

No reinforcement, been that way since my first set of 35s in 2020 and now about a year in on the XR wheels and 37s with lots of heavy wheeling. My buddy has run an even heavier setup and has wheeled even more often than I do on his 18 and hasn’t had any issue. No sagging or any signs of fatigue anywhere on the tailgate or hinges. I’m not sure I’d go any beefier than this without modifying tho.

This setup has the tire resting snug against the OEM steel bumper when closed - I did have to pull the plastic trim that’s under the tailgate on the bumper for it to close properly tho. I like how low the tire sits for rear visibility too.
