35/12.5/17 with lift on Sport Factory Wheels?

It worked!!!!! JLU Sport S Rough Country 2.5 lift and 35s (315/70/17 KO2s) with NO SPACERS and STOCK WHEELS!!!! no rubbing at all! I haven't had a chance to test flex but no rubbing with normal driving. I'm so excited! I will take better pictures soon I was too excited to focus. Also the rough country tire relocation bracket used.

Just got my Granite Crystal metallic JLU Sport S, with the same wheels. I love that you got 35's on the stock wheels, I would like to do the same. Jeep's granite crystal wheels are the prettiest, IMHO. I was thinking I would go with the MOPAR 2" lift, do you think that the extra 1/2", with your Rough Country lift makes a difference clearance/rubbing wise? Or could I get away with a 2" lift?

Do the factory made wheels have different specs? I have a Sport S with the upgraded rubicon wheel and 315/70/17 and rub on the lower control arms on a nearly full turn.

All the wheels are the same. Without a lift I would imagine that to be the case. Mine don't rub but I have the 2.5" lift.

I have a 2.5" lift as well, but the inside of the tire rubs on the lower control arm when almost at full lock each way

Oh interesting. Mine doesn't rub at all even offroad with the same tires.

RK 2.5 lift here on sport with jlur axles running 315/70/70 ko2's on rubi wheels. Even though the axles are 1.5" wider, it rubs solidly at full lock thanks to RK deciding to not make lower control arms that bend in for more clearance. I'm about to buy some new wheels with 5.2 (+10mm)backspacing that will add an inch of clearance.

I really think the Mopar 2 inch lift is bigger than our 2.5inch rough country. When we pull up to Mopar lifted JL Sport it definitely looks bigger . We don't rub at all even on some really good trails. So if you do the Mopar on you'll be be even better, the RC still allows for great flex and has worked really well for us on the trails here in Colorado .it's definitely way less expensive than the Mopar one.

Idk, but ours don't rub at all. I think the sport ones might have different off set than the Rubicon ones .

I love the look of your ride. I have the same Jeep basically except in Granite Metallic. Two questions for you:

1.) Did you have any trouble getting someone to mount those 315's on the stock wheels
2.) Any chance you can post a pic or two looking down the side of the Jeep to not only get an idea of how the tires line up with the edges of the fenders, but also to get an idea of how much the tire is squeezed/pinched with the "narrow" factory wheels?

My Fiance had one of his techs at work mount them, they said it was no issue.

Here are the pictures, sorry for the delay and we got some snow today .

Looking down at the top of the fender. The tire doesn't stick out beyond the fender .

I'll get a better picture or the rim and tire in the morning when the snow is melted .
