Question for the guys running 35” tires on aftermarket 17 or 18” wheels without bead locks . What tire pressure are you running on road and what are you airing down to on the trail?

I just got cooper stt pro 315/70 load E mounted and discount tire installed at 42. The ride home actually wasn’t that bad. But I lowered to 37 psi, and felt that on the freeway when you hit potholes etc it’s more jarring but I didn’t think it was that bad. Lowered to 32 psi all around and for on and Offroad moderate trails it’s more than enough. On road it feels sooo much more grounded like I might actually let go of the steering wheel and not worry.

For comparison the stock bfg on my rubicon Was set to 37. It was more pleasant to drive over bumps and potholes with the load C tires at similar pressures but the load E cooper stt pros are not at all bone jarring like some of the folklore you see on forums about load E tires. They are definitely harsher though.
