So I am currently running 33” Falkens and love the feel and the wear is amazing. I am going to go to a 35” tire when these are worn out. I am looking at the 35” Falkens and found the below:
35x12.5r18 = 34.6” height, 12.2” wide and 65.9lbs
Also saw these:
285/75r18 = 34.8” height, 11.3” wide and 74lbs

Has anyone run these two tire sizes? Better to go with the narrower or wider tire?

I'd go with the lighter tire, so the 35x12.5r18 FTW!

Personally, I like the narrower tire. But that is all preference on how you want the jeep to look. If you like the 33" tires you should be happy going a step up in size. Check out https://www.willtheyfit.com/ to see what the visual difference from what you have now to the change will be.

So I am currently running a RC 2.5” lift on a Sport S. I have Rubicon fenders, so it sits a little higher than a stick Rubicon. With that said, the 33s looks tiny. Definitely need a 35” tire.

So I read it wrong. The 285/75r18 is 65lbs and the 35 is 74lbs. I like the idea of a more narrow tire, just because the offset I currently run makes the 12” stick out a few inches.

Then, the 285/75 FTW! :)

So I just bought 5 Falken Wildpeak AT 285/75r18s for $120.99 per on ExtremeTerrain.com. Didn’t need them, but jumped on them while the price was stupid low.

Seems like I saved quite a bit then. $640 total out the door for 5 tires.
