I am debating moving up to 33 all terrain tires for my modest build, which is mostly a daily driver, and trying to decide if a small lift is necessary or keeping it the stock height still works well and looks proportionate.

Anyone have pictures of their rig on 33s stock and then after with a lift added?

TIA

No pictures, but from a year of wheeling our rubicon on stock 33’s vs 2.5” lift (and much larger tires) I say a 2” lift still benefits you in approach, departure, and break over angles. It looks better in my opinion, as 33’s with no lift just look stock. The cog is barely raised at a modest lift height as well. If you’re trying to keep it budget friendly and appearing stock for warranty/service work, you could pick up a set of rubicon take off springs and shocks (I’d look for a diesel as the extra front spring rate acts as a leveling kit on a non-diesel JL). You’d likely net 1.5” in the front and 1” in the rear and have better shocks too.

Couldn't ask for a better picture example seeing as I also drive a '20 Sport Altitude. Thanks!

Funny, it also appears you removed that air swoop between the bumper and fenders. That was the first thing I took off after getting mine.

Dig those pizza cutters. What tires are these? No-lift '20 here, and got the stock Sahara ATs. They've been pretty good. About to change tires. Drove in lots of snow/slush/rain and no problems, but getting ready to switch them out after 22,000 miles.

No spacers and no rub?

They've been great tires. No spacers & no rub although I only wheel in sand and snow.
