Anyone running a 315/70R17 spare tire on the stock tailgate carrier? (35’s)

How does it fit? Pics? Thanks!
I've had my 315 KO2's on the stock carrier for two months. Just finished a 2500 mile trip to Moab. Just add synergy isolators and you're good to go.

It’s more of a weight thing than a size thing. My wheels plus a 315 KO2 weigh 115 pounds. It also sets off my backup sensors. I have the Mopar reinforcement kit and a slight relocation kit that I’ll be putting on shortly (to see if it moves the tire out of my backup sensor).

I have a 315x70x R17 on a Method MR312 wheel hanging on the stock carrier but am also using a RC spare relocator and have no issues

I've got 315 KO2's on stock wheels and it fits. The tire rubs slightly on the bumper lip, but that takes care of any weight concerns. It can be lessened by letting some air out. Right now I've got the spare at 35 or so. I usually knock it down to 30. Either way, it slides right on when I close the gate.

Just put on 315/70/R17 on a 17x8 4.5" backspacing wheel and it fits without a relocation bracket I just put on the spare tire tailgate bumpers for a jk from crown to give it support

Keep in mind, not all tires are created equal. KO2s are a bit on the small side. My Cooper STT Pro’s in 315/70/17 measured out at 34.7, and did not fit without a relocation bracket.

I wish those tires were C rated, or at least a D. I don't see why they're an E but the 37's are D rated.

RC spare relocator? Link?
I believe RC redesigned the bracket to put the tire higher up so a larger tire can be mounted, mine is one of the original ones that does not raise it as high.

Got 315/70R17 on the tailgate (Falken Wildpeak AT3W)

IF I let air out of the spare to about 25 psi, I can clear the bumper and close the gate. VERY tight. No backup sensor issues but seriously considering relocating it.
