Are you please with the Bikini Pearl? That's what I ordered instead of yellow or orange. Still waiting on delivery but the BFG AT KO2 315/70/R17 Load Range C is exactly what I'll have waiting to install. I want a great road experience but a notch better than stock offroad capability.

Also adding RK 2.5 Adv Seriers 1 and other substantial suspension and steering improvements right away. Then we'll hit the road for 5 months of travel.

Im really happy with the color. I get lots of complements and love the fact its unique and I rarely see another one. I also really like that the dash is gray/silver not the red color.

Good to know. I assumed my dash would be red, but I guess silver/grey is fine too. I really picked Bikini to let me old lady feel more involved. I would have gone with orange or yellow but have warmed up to the idea that bikini will probably look great and be less common.

Discount tire is my choice. Plus they are a forum supporter.
Google "BFG 58424" and you can shop around and find better prices. But local convenience and install matters too.
Thanks! Is there any opinion on the two different load sizes (113 v 121)? If I don't plan on towing much, I'd be fine with 113?

I am planning to upgrade to a set of 35in tires for my 2018 JL Rubicon. Unable to find BFG KO2 anywhere (apparently, manufacturing shortages) and am contemplating going with either a General Grabber AT/X or a Mickey Thomson ATZ P3. Any experience you can share with either of these tires? Or, anything else that performs well AT in 35s?

Thanks

No rubbing, nor on the spare.

I have a 2018 JLUR with OEM 17x7.5 Rubicon wheels. I know several of you have posted on this thread showing the 315/70/17 fitting without issue. What I am not clear about is, are any of you having fitment or rubbing issues with this set up when the suspension is really working on a non-lifted Jeep? In other words, will these only really fit for street driving or will they actually be an advantage when off-roading without a 2 inch or higher lift? This is on a rubicon.

thanks

No sign of rubbing on mine. I have the Mopar lift. I´m getting slightly more wear in the middle of the tread. I´ve moved to 30psi cold, so that should help. Overall, the wear is at a rate that appears to lead to good overall tire life.

Great thread. I'm at 27k miles with my stock KM2s on my JLUR and have maybe 15k miles left. Been researching what to do when I need new tires and I'm sold on the 315/70/17 setup and C plys. Looks like people have had good success with that combo so thanks everyone with that setup and posting your experiences.

I am running 315/70R17 KO2 with Spydertrax 1.75 spacers on stock wheels of my 2020 Rubicon. I have a 2.5 Metalcloak GC lift. Took it to the dealership today for an oil change and the advisor said those tires don’t work for that wheel. He said the 315s need at least 8.5 tire width. Thoughts on this? Any long term damage?

Discount Tire used to have the same policy except it was 8" wide wheel. They have since updated all of there recommended wheel sizes to 7.5" minimum. They mounted my last two sets. I've run that set up for years because I like the stock look and have never had a problem. I hope you said "just change my oil clown!"

here is 315/70/17 KO2’s on stock rubicon wheels (17x7.5 +44 offset). The ride feels smooth.
the tires are lined Up with the fenders perfectly, not sucked in, not poked out.
