Just installed 315/70/17 BFG "C" on my '18 JLUS using Rubicon takeoffs. With the Mopar 2" lift which yielded 3 1/2 lift. Now my front tire rub the lower control arms at left/right lock. Is there unadjustable lower control arm with more curvature to clear the wider tire. Thanks in advance.

I think you will need wheels with less offset or wheel spacers to fit 315 on a Sport. It looks great BTW.

How much of a rub are we talking about? Have you tried adjusting the steering stops? I was researching this same setup today and ran across your post.

The rub is annoying. I'm aware that the JKs had steering stop (bolts) that can be adjusted, but I'm not aware the JLs have the same setup.

I have almost the same setup and I can see the tire rubs the swab bar link slightly but can only tell because of the small corner of paint on the link rubbed off but I can't tell otherwise.

Knowing I didn't want to use wheel spacers on my JLUS, I went this route with these JKS adjustable front lower control arms (JKS 1625). On the OEM unit where the orange plug indicates where the tire rubbed.

you just solved my dilemma on how to fit 35’s on my stock sport wheels because it was either going to be wheel spacers or aftermarket wheel, but I love my sport wheels so much that I powered coated them black

BJC, glad I could help. I'm really satisfied with the install, the ride and most of all the lock-to-lock rubbing is gone. I bought my set off eBay as they were readily available. All the other normal online Jeep stores said they would take 2-weeks or more before I would receive them.

Were you able to mount the 35" spare without issue on your Sport using the stock components?

I was referring to my future 35’s, I’m on 33.8 right now

There are several online tire calculators out on the web. Punch in the tire #s and see the difference.
