29 days at the dealer now for my visit in regards to the frame welds.

I've hired a lemon law lawyer and he's started working on it for me.

I'm guessing it will take another 2 months.

Still pretty depressed.

I get sad every time I see a Jeep when I'm driving.

I get sad every time I see a Jeep in my social media feeds.

Looking forward to the end.

Didn't have much time to look at the car. Still in dealers back lot.

This is the only weld I found reworked.

I don't know what to say.

Thank you for posting this. I'm going to check my welds when my Jeep arrives.

My Jeeps been at the dealer now for 3 weeks waiting on the Frame Weld repairs.

Jeep keeps saying the repair tech is coming next week, coming tomorrow, etc. All false promises.

I'm pretty fed up with the lies.

I went there last week and saw my Jeep just sitting in the back lot.

According to GPS monitoring they haven't touched the jeep since the day I brought it in for inspection.

I've been out of service for over 30 days now.

They refuse to admit it is a lemon.

Thinking of going to the dealership and banging on the GMs office door. I've had enough of the BS.

I am not a certified welder, but I have been welding Mig, Arc, and oxy, for nearly 30 years. That weld looks cold, ie: not enough heat for good penetration. This weld, and the other suspect welds should be ground down at least flat and rewelded. It looks like they just ran a bead over the top of the old weld, that will not fix the underlying defect.

Super glad to hear you are getting some results. Any thoughts on your replacement vehicle?

Well I have gotten my Jeep back and taken off all the aftermarket parts and replaced all the stock parts. My lawyer told me 2 weeks ago that the process would have been done by now.

But hey! Look! Wuhan Virus Hoax seems to be slowing down the process, supposedly.

This really is a double edged sword. For 1 side I get my money back, slower, but side 2 I might be getting a good deal, as car sales will be taking a huge hit, the main reason plants are shutting down. In China new car sales went down by 90%. I expect the same in USA as the pattern of reaction by central banks, UN, goverments is all the same.

I've been getting emails from dealers stating

0% interest.
Red carpet free delivery to home.
90 days no payments.
9000$ off MSRP.

My patients will hopefully pay off in the long run.

Even after my deal was "done" with Ford it took another 5 weeks to have the set a date to drop off the vehicle and get me a check. I think the patience will pay off for you and you will have a smile ;)
