I am excited about this package but bummed its only with the e-torque. Im guessing its to keep the MPG up. I wont lie, not a fan of the e-torque. i went with the 6speed to get ride of the e-torque. its unclear that you can get the package or not with the manual but you will be able to get the 4.88 gear ratio. im hoping that they allow it with the manual too. I also assume that the 1.5" lift is just the mopar lift labeled to 1.5" for manufacturing purposes

Same here. I ordered Monday with the package. I wanted 2.0 but didn't have a choice.

At that price point, it seems like a great bargain from the factory!

That was my thinking. I couldn't buy and have installed for this price. For me it's actually a $5,750 package. I was going 2.0 but Jeep is forcing the $1,750 Etorque. No biggy.

For the V6 - looks like it from what someone has already posted who ordered it.

Sounds like the 4.88 great ratio will also not be available on the 2.0 Turbo.

Is it because Jeep is forcing their customers to opt in for the additional $1,750 - 3.6 eTorque engine option, which also makes you have to buy the $1,500 automatic transmission option as well? Those two options together is $3,250 + $3,995 = $7,245.

The 2.0 Turbo would only need to upgrade the automatic transmission. $1,500 + $3,995 = $5,495.

*ignoring the new 4.88 ratio that coming to the six-speed manual transmission option for this argument, which bypasses the $3,250*

Yep, but I was adding the $4k package and going 2.0 engine. Had to add V6 @ $1,750. So for anyone that wanted to order 2.0 it's really a $5,750 package Not complaining. I still ordered. Not really the extra $1,750 that bothered me. I wanted 2.0. Oh well. It is what it is. No doubt will be available in coming model years in non-rubicons and with other engines as well. I couldn't wait.

Lol I just made a comment about the additional pricing. If I had to choose between the 3.6 and 2.0, I would do 2.0 as well.

I was in the same boat as you, had a 2019 JLUR manual with 14k miled. I sold it since since the second market is so good right now and got more than what I paid for. Just check out Vroom/Carmax, you will be surprised. I casually looked at vroom without intent of selling and I just couldn't refuse the 52k offer to get the Manual with 4.88

Moving forward 2 weeks, I ended up convincing myself to get the 392.

Here's how I look at it. I haven't had a Jeep since my 2013 2 door. I was going to buy a 21, then realized we are close to the 22's so I'm waiting for a new color. Then, they announced the Recon XtremeZ package and I figured no shot on the 2 door. Since they are now saying it CAN be added, that seems like a no brainer for 2022 and to just wait.

IF, and it's a mighty big IF the inline 6 ever comes out, I would just trade in for it. Won't hold my breathe, and won't waste a few years enjoying a great, capable, perfectly fine 3.6 pentastar powered JL.
